Zambia turns to Dangote for lifeline in affordable fuel

Zambia is turning to Nigeria’s Dangote Oil in a bid to secure affordable fuel and ease skyrocketing prices ahead of next year’s elections.

Zambia is in negotiations with Nigeria’s Dangote Oil to secure fuel supplies from Africa’s largest refinery, aiming to diversify its petroleum sources and curb soaring fuel prices, which have surged by over 110% in the past four years.
